deteriorating. "He has been taken to the
emergency room two or three times in two weeks
as he had fluid retention in his lungs, having
difficulty breathing normally,

he is suffering from severe Neuropathy. He can't
move his legs and walk and is being carried to
and from the hospital where he gets dialysis
treatment 3x a week (T-TH-Sat). His speech is
now affected and he slurs whenever I try to talk
to him on the phone. He said he has given up and
finds no reason to live."

Tomorrow, April 9, the
historic Bataan Day, and the blessed day of
Maundy Thursday this year, and in the
forthcoming days, i shall start to undertake the
“Lumalawig na Pag-aayuno” (expanding and
extended-relay fasting) for the deeply heartfelt
petition for the grant of the Light of honor,
reason and wisdom that will stop the majority of
our national legislators from their move to
revive the extremely dangerous and very costly
Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) project,
without even just disclosing, studying and
taking into account the thick scientific and
technical documentation pointing out dozens of
thousands of defects in the plant as
constructed. This is an act of irresponsibly
gambling with the lives, safety, health, and
peace of mind of present and future generations
of our people. I expect to be joined by
like-minded citizens of this country. We shall
be undertaking this to seek the light of
knowledge, courage and fortitude for the
ill-advised members of the House of
Representatives to decide to desist from their
planned act of
criminally irresponsible legislation by
approving the bill for commissioning and
operating the BNPP. We seek the Light of
Wisdom to be granted our people so we can
remember well that "Evil triumphs because good
people tend to surrender to it or even cooperate
with it." |
